Welcome to ipboast,

I created ipboast.com, which is an idea that's been sitting in my head for the past 3 years. Until, a colleague told told me about free social networking platforms(I chose elgg, and thank you elgg!) and now it's a reality!

ipboast.com

This is a free community, of trusted people, companies, firms, that allows users, whether a designer, owner, agent, attorney, to create communities through groups or friends and "boast" about your creations via infomercial, commercial or advertisement upload or creation. The site gives you the ability to start your own profile, upload your patent, intellectually created product, new product, design... and upload an info-mercial, commercial or simply an advertisement for that product or design. Hence, ip for "intellectual property" and of course "boast" to get the word out. This is a community of trustworthy people.

Furthermore, since this is a community of such diverse backgrounds, use your backgrounds and expertise to help better everyone's creations. For example, if you posted a "widget" that you created up on the site, maybe someone in the artists group can help put some beautiful design to your creation, maybe someone in the writers community can help write a better advertisement or jingle, the film group maybe a commercial/infomercial, maybe someone from the musicians group can help do the background music for your commercial, the photographer...your advertisement print work...I think you get my point. Let's add the missing link to social networking beyond staying in touch, usefulness.
